Careers Coaching

What are your Unique Selling Points (USPs)? And how can they be easily communicated? What's your brand?

What are your strengths? What are your assets, skills and attributes? How best to represent them? How can you differentiate yourself from other candidates?

Think about the skills, experience and attributes you feel most excited about. It's highly likely that these will be what make you stand out. It's your job to show why you should be hired above a similarly qualified and experienced candidate, and give the hiring manager the information to convince their boss of the need to add you to the team.

Tell your own story, in your own words, make it personal. Don't worry if you feel you won't appeal to everyone. You can't. Be authentic. Employers hire based upon being engaged by, and attracted to, the candidate's passion, initiative and enthusiasm, valuable transferable skills, strong work ethic, integrity and chemistry. Communicating these factors effectively in your CV or resume and at an interview make your chances of being hired soar.
